The Hornery Institute is emphatically a ‘doing’ organisation. We do, however, inform our work with leading edge thinking drawing on contemporary best practice globally and engaging with the ‘wisdom of the crowds’.
Through our work we have developed a comprehensive understanding of key community development concepts including community governance, place making and wellbeing; we are also passionate advocates of partnering, libraries and community skilling programs.
We regularly speak at public forums, university workshops and industry seminars on these topics. We are pleased to share our knowledge and examples of its practical application with you, as long as it is appropriately acknowledged.
